DIVIDENDS AND TAX
Dividends to AutoCash
Hey pearlers, Another dumb question that you have heard a million times, I'm sure! but related to DRP, if in (settings > share settings and dividends > and flicked dividends payments enabled). Will this feature grab all dividends from my holdings and re-invest into my shares?? Sorry it sounds self-explanatory but just was curious on how this worked. Thankyou!

Thanks for bringing attention to this feature :)
This option is basically to allow your dividends that are already being paid into your AU Cash account to be redirected into your Autoinvest Shares Cash account instead.
This is mainly beneficial for people that have an active Shares Autoinvest, so these dividends can also contribute towards that setup.
If you already have dividend reinvestment (DRP) set up with the share registry, activating this feature would make no difference.
