Hi James.

I assume you mean what happens to your investments if Pearler goes bankrupt etc…

There are two short blog posts Pearler has created around this topic which might help:
«Why your shares are safe with Pearler» – https://pearler.com/explore/learn/blog/why-yo...
«Why your cash is safe with Pearler» – https://pearler.com/explore/learn/blog/why-yo...

Basically, your shares/investments will be moved over/transferred to another broker if something happens to Pearler. You are the owner of the assets, Pearler is really just the middleman helping you buy these assets.

Hope that makes sense.
Dave

The shares yo buy through pearler are in your name, not theirs. That is what CHESS is about, and that provides better protection compared to the custodian model used in US. Pearler seem to have made a good attempt to protect your cash account too, but if some external party is really going after pearler, the cash seems to be in their name even if the sub-accounts are in your name, so I bet cash is at risk to a good lawyer.
