Allspring Income Opportunities Fund (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek a high level of current income. The Fund's secondary objective is to seek capital appreciation to the extent it is consistent with its investment objective. The Fund invests at least 80% of its total assets in below-investment-grade (high yield) debt securities, loans and preferred stocks.
