Nuveen Credit Strategies Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s primary investment objective is to achieve a high level of current income and secondary investment objective is total return. The Fund meets its investment objectives by investing approximately 70% of its managed asset adjustable rate senior loans and second lien loans, and up to 30% of its managed assets across securities, including mortgage-related and other asset-backed securities; debt securities and other instruments issued by government, government-related or supranational issuers (commonly referred to as sovereign debt securities); and domestic and international equity securities. The Fund invests in sectors, such as hotels, restaurants and leisure, media, software, pharmaceuticals, insurance, health care providers and services, chemicals, semiconductors and semiconductor equipment and specialty retail. The Fund's investment advisor is Nuveen Fund Advisors, LLC.
