The Company owns, operates and manages a portfolio of assets representing approximately 7,387 megawatts (MW) of capacity and uses a range of fuels that include water, wind, solar, natural gas and thermal coal. Its segments include Generation Segments and Energy Marketing Segment. Its four generation segments include Hydro, Wind and Solar, Gas, and Energy Transition. The Company directly or indirectly owns and operates hydro, wind and solar, natural-gas-fired and coal-fired facilities, related mining operations, and natural gas pipeline operations in Canada, the United States and Australia. Its Energy Marketing segment is engaged in the wholesale trading of electricity and other energy-related commodities and derivatives. Its Energy Marketing segment manages available generating capacity as well as the fuel and transmission needs of the generation segments by utilizing contracts of various durations.
