Tortoise Energy Infrastructure Corp. (TYG) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund is focused on to reduce global carbon dioxide emissions in energy production. TYG invests in energy infrastructure companies that generate, transport and distribute electricity, as well as process, store, distribute and market natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGL), refined products and crude oil. Its primary investment objective is to seek a high level of total return with an emphasis on current distributions paid to stockholders. The Fund invests approximately 90% of its total assets in securities of energy infrastructure companies and up to 30% of its total assets in restricted securities, primarily through direct placements. The Fund also invests up to 25% of its total investments in debt securities of energy infrastructure companies, including certain securities rated below investment grade. The Fund's investment advisor is Tortoise Capital Advisors, L.L.C.
